About the role

NexGen Media is expanding its visual analytics platform to deliver real‑time insights from video streams. We need a Senior Computer Vision Engineer to design, implement, and optimize deep‑learning models that detect and track objects across diverse environments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and fine‑tune convolutional neural networks for object detection, segmentation, and tracking.
• Integrate vision models into existing pipelines and ensure low‑latency inference.
• Collaborate with data engineers to build robust data ingestion and annotation workflows.
• Perform model validation, benchmarking, and continuous performance monitoring.
• Document code, experiments, and results for reproducibility.

Must-have skills

• Strong expertise in Python and computer vision libraries (OpenCV, PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• Experience deploying models on edge devices or cloud GPU instances.
• Proficiency with image/video preprocessing and data augmentation techniques.
• Solid understanding of machine learning fundamentals and optimization strategies.
• Ability to write clean, modular code and unit tests.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with JavaScript for building visualization dashboards.
• Experience with REST API integration for model serving.
