We're a Series A funded fintech startup ($2M ARR, 30 employees) needing a Fractional VP of Marketing to build and execute our go-to-market strategy. You'll own marketing vision, manage $50K monthly budget, build our brand, and drive customer acquisition. Strategic leadership role for 40-50 hours/month reporting directly to CEO.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategy
Own customer acquisition across all channels
Manage $50K monthly marketing budget and ROI
Build and optimize demand generation programs
Develop brand positioning and messaging framework
Lead content, SEO, paid ads, and partnerships
Hire and manage freelance marketing team
Establish marketing analytics and reporting
Collaborate with sales on lead quality and conversion
Required Skills:
8+ years marketing leadership experience (fintech/SaaS preferred)
Proven track record scaling startups from $1M to $10M+ ARR
Deep expertise across multiple marketing channels
Strategic thinking and execution excellence
Team leadership and vendor management
Strong analytical and budget management skills
Understanding of B2B SaaS sales cycles
Excellent stakeholder communication

Payment Structure:
Standard: $5,000/month (strategy + execution, 40 hours)
Advanced: $6,500/month (+ team management + analytics, 45 hours)
Premium: $8,000/month (full VP role + fundraising support, 50 hours)
Equity: 0.25-0.5% with 4-year vest
Payment on the 1st of each month
