Key Responsibilities

• Edit and enhance photographs to the highest standard, ensuring they meet the client's brief and our company's quality expectations.
• Utilize a range of editing techniques to improve the composition, lighting, and overall aesthetic of images.
• Collaborate with the design team to ensure coherence between images and the overall visual identity of the project.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
• Retouch and manipulate images as necessary, while maintaining their authenticity and integrity.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest editing software and technologies, implementing these into your workflow as appropriate.
• Contribute to the development of the company's visual style and brand identity through your editing work.
• Maintain open communication with clients and internal teams, ensuring clear understanding of project requirements and expectations.
• Work closely with photographers to understand their vision and apply this understanding to your editing decisions.
• Perform quality control checks on all edited images before they are delivered to clients.
• Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions to share ideas and insights on current and future projects.
• Ensure all edited images are properly backed up and archived, following the company's data management protocols.
• Maintain a high level of organization, ensuring all projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in photo editing, preferably within a creative agency or similar environment.
• High-level proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, with the ability to learn and adapt to new software and technologies.
• Excellent understanding of color theory, composition, and visual storytelling principles.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work accurately under pressure and to tight deadlines.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Portfolios that demonstrate a high level of creativity, technical skill, and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with project management tools and workflows, to efficiently manage and prioritize tasks.
