Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy high-quality, engaging, and interactive games using Unity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, art, and writing, to ensure seamless integration of game components.
• Develop and maintain high-performance, scalable, and reliable game code using C#, Unity, and other relevant tools and technologies.
• Implement and optimize game features, such as physics, graphics, and animation, to ensure a smooth and immersive gaming experience.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve issues, ensure compatibility, and optimize performance.
• Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and adhere to coding standards and best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in game development, and apply this knowledge to continuously improve our games and development processes.
• Collaborate with the QA team to identify and resolve issues, and ensure that games meet the highest standards of quality and functionality.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, technical specifications, and user manuals.
• Participate in project planning, estimation, and scheduling, and provide input on technical feasibility, complexity, and resource requirements.
• Work closely with the production team to ensure that games are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the required quality standards.
• Maintain a high level of organization, prioritization, and time management, and ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Collaborate with the development team to identify and resolve technical issues, and provide guidance and support as needed.
• Stay up-to-date with Unity releases, updates, and new features, and apply this knowledge to continuously improve our games and development processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in game development, with a focus on Unity and C#.
• Strong proficiency in Unity, C#, and relevant game development tools and technologies.
• Experience with game development pipelines, including design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Strong understanding of game development principles, including game design, game mechanics, and user experience.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop creative solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
• Experience with version control systems, including Git and SVN.
• Strong attention to detail, with a focus on quality, reliability, and performance.
• Experience with game development frameworks, including Unity, Unreal Engine, and other relevant tools and technologies.
