About the role

Pinecrest Systems is launching a brand‑new SaaS product from the ground up. We need a Terraform Engineer to design and implement the core infrastructure as code, ensuring scalability and security for a remote‑first team.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and provision AWS environments using Terraform modules
• Build reusable CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments
• Collaborate with developers to embed infrastructure best practices
• Implement monitoring, logging, and cost‑optimization strategies
• Document infrastructure design and handover procedures

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with Terraform on AWS
• Deep understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD tools
• Proficiency in scripting (Shell, Python) for automation
• Ability to work autonomously in a distributed team

Nice to have

• Kubernetes or ECS experience
• Knowledge of security frameworks (IAM, KMS)
• Previous work on greenfield SaaS projects
