Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable and efficient backend systems using Python and other relevant technologies.
• Collaborate with our frontend team to ensure seamless integration of backend systems.
• Work closely with our quality assurance team to ensure that our solutions meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our codebase.
• Identify and prioritize project requirements, and collaborate with our team to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for our backend systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, and collaborate with our team to identify and implement solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in backend development, and apply this knowledge to improve our systems and processes.
• Collaborate with our devops team to ensure the smooth deployment of our backend systems.
• Participate in agile development methodologies, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
• Contribute to the development of our company's technical vision and strategy.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, and contribute to the growth and development of our team.
• Collaborate with our product management team to identify and prioritize project requirements.
• Develop and maintain unit tests and integration tests for our backend systems.

Requirements

• Strong background in Python development, with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop creative solutions.
• Strong understanding of backend development principles, including scalability, security, and performance.
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and React, and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with our team and communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with agile development methodologies, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
• Strong understanding of database principles, including data modeling and database design.
• Experience with cloud-based platforms, including AWS or Azure.
• Strong understanding of security principles, including authentication and authorization.
• Experience with containerization, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of testing principles, including unit tests and integration tests.
