Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain custom Shopify themes, including layout, UI, and UX
• Integrate third-party apps and services, such as payment gateways, shipping providers, and social media platforms
• Optimize store performance, including page speed, SEO, and conversions
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, including debugging, testing, and deployment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, project managers, and clients
• Develop and maintain custom Shopify apps, including API integration and data migration
• Provide exceptional customer service, including technical support, training, and documentation
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Shopify trends, technologies, and best practices
• Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and contributing to the development of our internal coding standards
• Work with clients to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions that meet their needs
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including code comments, API documentation, and troubleshooting guides
• Participate in agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Collaborate with the QA team to identify and resolve technical issues, including testing and quality assurance

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Shopify development, including theme development, app integration, and performance optimization
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React, with experience in using these technologies in ecommerce development
• Experience with NodeJS, including API integration, data migration, and server-side rendering
• Familiarity with Shopify's API, including REST, GraphQL, and SDKs
• Strong understanding of ecommerce principles, including conversion optimization, user experience, and customer journey mapping
• Experience with version control systems, including Git, SVN, and GitHub
• Strong problem-solving skills, including debugging, testing, and troubleshooting
• Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including prioritizing tasks, managing deadlines, and meeting expectations
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean
• Strong team player, including collaboration, empathy, and conflict resolution
