About the role

Vertex Analytics is revamping the performance and reliability of its customer‑facing services. We need a Terraform Engineer to design, implement, and automate infrastructure that scales under load while maintaining high availability.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and codify AWS environments using Terraform modules
• Integrate CI/CD pipelines to provision and update resources automatically
• Conduct performance testing on infrastructure components and optimize configurations
• Collaborate with development teams to embed reliability best practices into deployments
• Document infrastructure design, standards, and operational procedures

Must-have skills

• 5+ years hands‑on Terraform experience
• Deep knowledge of AWS services and networking
• Strong DevOps mindset with CI/CD implementation expertise
• Proficiency in scripting and automation tools

Nice to have

• Experience with monitoring and alerting solutions
• Familiarity with container orchestration platforms
• Background in performance tuning of cloud resources
