About the role

AlphaEdge Tech is launching a security hardening initiative for its suite of cloud‑hosted applications. We need a seasoned Node.js Developer to design and implement robust security controls, audit existing code, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze current Node.js services for vulnerability gaps
• Implement authentication, authorization, and input validation layers
• Integrate security scanning tools into CI pipelines
• Refactor code to adopt secure coding best practices
• Document security enhancements and provide knowledge transfer

Must-have skills

• 5+ years of Node.js development experience
• Deep understanding of OWASP Top 10 and cloud security
• Proficiency with Express, JavaScript, and REST API design
• Experience securing microservices in AWS or Azure environments

Nice to have

• Familiarity with container security (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of automated security testing tools
