About the role

NovaForge Tech is modernizing a high‑traffic legacy production platform. The goal is to deliver zero‑downtime updates while refactoring core services. You will join a focused squad to rewrite critical modules in Node.js and ensure seamless migration.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement new backend services using Node.js and Express
• Migrate existing business logic to RESTful APIs with zero‑downtime strategies
• Write automated tests and set up CI pipelines for continuous delivery
• Collaborate with DevOps to manage blue‑green deployments and monitoring
• Document architectural decisions and code standards

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with NodeJS and Express
• Deep knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+)
• Proven track record building and scaling REST APIs
• Understanding of zero‑downtime deployment patterns

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with legacy system refactoring
• Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, GCP)
