About the role

DataPro Services is launching a performance and reliability overhaul of its customer‑facing services. We need a Docker Kubernetes Specialist to design, implement, and fine‑tune container orchestration that maximizes uptime and scales with demand.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and deploy resilient Kubernetes clusters across cloud providers.
• Containerize legacy services, optimize Docker images for size and speed.
• Implement health checks, auto‑scaling policies, and rolling update strategies.
• Collaborate with developers to refactor services for cloud‑native operation.
• Monitor metrics, set alerts, and conduct root‑cause analysis for performance issues.

Must-have skills

• Deep expertise with Docker and Kubernetes in production.
• Strong DevOps mindset and CI/CD pipeline experience.
• Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python) for automation.
• Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana).

Nice to have

• Knowledge of service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Background in performance testing and tuning.
