PostgreSQL Administrator – Secure Data Modeling

About the role

We are launching an integration project that ties our billing system, CRM, and internal APIs into a unified data layer. As a PostgreSQL Administrator you will ensure the database backbone is robust, performant, and ready for real‑time data flows.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement schema changes to support cross‑system data mapping
• Optimize queries and indexes for high‑volume billing transactions
• Set up logical replication and data pipelines between PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and MySQL
• Monitor replication health and resolve latency issues
• Collaborate with dev and ops teams to automate deployment scripts

Must-have skills

• 3+ years managing PostgreSQL in production
• Strong SQL tuning and indexing expertise
• Experience with data integration and replication technologies
• Proficiency in Linux command line and scripting

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Docker or Kubernetes for database containers
• Familiarity with cloud‑hosted PostgreSQL services
