Node.js Developer Needed for Auth Service Build Initiative

About the role

NexGen Media is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted applications. We need a Node.js Developer to fortify APIs, audit configurations, and embed best‑practice safeguards into our services.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze existing Node.js services for vulnerability patterns
• Implement input validation, rate limiting, and secure headers
• Integrate JWT and OAuth flows to tighten authentication
• Automate security testing using static analysis and dependency scanning
• Document hardening guidelines for future development cycles

Must-have skills

• Strong NodeJS experience with Express framework
• Deep understanding of JavaScript security pitfalls
• Design and consume robust REST API endpoints
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)

Nice to have

• Experience with OWASP Top 10 remediation
• Knowledge of container security tools
• Previous work on CI/CD security pipelines
