As a Game Developer at Luminari Games, you will be working on a variety of projects, from concept to completion. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing game features, as well as collaborating with our team of artists, designers, and producers to ensure that our games meet the highest standards of quality and fun. You will also have the opportunity to work with a variety of technologies, including Unity, and to develop your skills in areas such as game physics, AI, and graphics programming.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test game features using Unity and other game development tools
• Collaborate with our team of artists, designers, and producers to create high-quality games
• Develop and maintain game code, including game mechanics, AI, and physics
• Optimize game performance and troubleshoot issues
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our codebase
• Collaborate with our QA team to identify and fix bugs
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in game technology and industry trends
• Participate in agile development methodologies, including sprint planning and retrospectives
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for our games and tools
• Collaborate with our DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment and maintenance of our games
• Participate in the development of our game development pipeline and tools
• Contribute to the development of our company's technology strategy and roadmap
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members
• Maintain a high level of quality and attention to detail in all aspects of your work

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in game development, with a focus on Unity
• Strong programming skills in C#, Java, or other languages
• Experience with game development tools, including Unity, Unreal Engine, and Maya
• Strong understanding of game development principles, including game mechanics, AI, and physics
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with agile development methodologies, including scrum and kanban
• Strong understanding of game development pipelines and tools
• Experience with DevOps and continuous integration/continuous deployment
• Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Unity, C#, and Java
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or related field
• Experience with cloud-based game development platforms, including AWS and Google Cloud
