Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test Shopify themes, templates, and modules to ensure they meet our high standards of quality and functionality.
• Collaborate with our design team to create visually appealing and user-friendly storefronts that align with our clients' brand identities.
• Work closely with our project managers to ensure timely and successful project delivery, and provide regular progress updates to our clients.
• Develop and implement custom Shopify apps and integrations to enhance the functionality of our clients' ecommerce stores.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve technical issues, and ensure that our ecommerce solutions are stable, secure, and perform optimally.
• Provide technical support and maintenance services to our clients, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Shopify developments, trends, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to continuously improve our ecommerce solutions and services.
• Collaborate with our team of developers to share knowledge, ideas, and best practices, and contribute to the growth and development of our company.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our code quality, ensuring that our ecommerce solutions are maintainable, scalable, and efficient.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for our ecommerce solutions, including user manuals, technical guides, and API documentation.
• Provide training and support to our clients on the use and maintenance of their ecommerce stores, and ensure that they are equipped to manage their online stores effectively.
• Contribute to the development of our company's technical roadmap, and provide input on emerging trends and technologies that can enhance our ecommerce solutions and services.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in Shopify development, with a strong portfolio of successfully completed projects.
• Advanced knowledge of Shopify's theme architecture, including Liquid templating, and expertise in creating custom themes and templates.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React, with experience in using these technologies to build fast, scalable, and maintainable ecommerce solutions.
• Strong understanding of NodeJS and experience in using it to build server-side applications and microservices.
• Familiarity with Shopify's API and experience in using it to integrate third-party services and custom applications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug and resolve complex technical issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience in working with cross-functional teams and providing technical support to clients.
• Strong attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality ecommerce solutions that meet our clients' expectations.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a strong sense of priorities and deadlines.
• Experience in using version control systems such as Git, and familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
