As a Shopify Developer at Nexogen, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality ecommerce solutions that exceed our clients' expectations. You will work closely with our design team to translate designs into functional and user-friendly websites, and with our project managers to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy high-quality ecommerce solutions using Shopify
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, project management, and quality assurance
• Translate designs into functional and user-friendly websites
• Develop custom themes, templates, and modules for Shopify
• Optimize website performance, scalability, and security
• Troubleshoot and debug issues with existing websites
• Implement responsive design and mobile-first approach
• Utilize version control systems, such as Git, to manage code repositories
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the codebase
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in ecommerce development
• Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and provide solutions that meet their needs
• Contribute to the development of new features and functionalities for our Shopify projects
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for our projects

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in ecommerce development, preferably with Shopify
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React
• Experience with NodeJS and RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of Shopify theme development, including Liquid templating
• Understanding of responsive design and mobile-first approach
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Strong understanding of ecommerce principles and best practices
• Experience with Shopify Plus and Shopify Polaris
