About the role

Silverline Labs is enhancing its operations data pipeline and analytics platform. We need a Cybersecurity Analyst to embed security controls, monitor threats, and ensure compliance throughout the data flow.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement security hardening for data ingestion and processing services.
• Develop real‑time monitoring scripts to detect anomalies in pipeline traffic.
• Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for analytics workloads.
• Collaborate with data engineers to embed encryption and access controls.
• Document security policies and provide guidance to operations teams.

Must-have skills

• Hands‑on experience securing Linux‑based data pipelines.
• Proficiency in Python for automation and detection scripts.
• Strong understanding of security frameworks and incident response.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud data services (e.g., AWS, GCP).
• Experience with SIEM tools and log analysis.
