About the role

AlphaEdge Tech is expanding its cloud footprint and needs an AWS Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and optimize scalable infrastructure. You will work on a core project migrating legacy workloads to AWS while ensuring high availability and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda)
• Containerize applications using Docker and manage orchestration
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with IaC tools
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement security best practices
• Collaborate with developers to support CI/CD pipelines

Must-have skills

• Hands‑on experience with AWS core services
• Proficiency in Docker containerization
• Strong DevOps mindset and automation skills
• Solid Linux administration experience

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation
• Knowledge of serverless architectures
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like CloudWatch or Prometheus
