About the role

BrightMart Solutions is launching a new e‑commerce mobile experience. We need an Android Developer to design and implement core features, integrate APIs, and ensure a smooth UI/UX for shoppers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain native Android modules using Kotlin and Java
• Implement RESTful API calls and handle data persistence
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate mockups into functional screens
• Write unit and UI tests to guarantee code quality
• Participate in code reviews and agile ceremonies

Must-have skills

• 2+ years of Android development experience
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java
• Familiarity with Android Jetpack components
• Experience with Retrofit/OkHttp and Room

Nice to have

• Knowledge of MVVM architecture
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for Android
• Understanding of modern Android UI libraries (Compose)
