About the role

BrightMart Solutions is expanding its mobile team to enhance the shopping experience for millions of users. We seek an Android Developer to design, build, and ship new features for our flagship retail app. This part‑time role offers flexibility while delivering impactful code.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Android UI components using modern architecture patterns
• Integrate RESTful APIs and third‑party SDKs
• Write clean, testable Kotlin and Java code
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to define requirements
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement

Must-have skills

• Proficiency in Kotlin and Java for Android development
• Experience with Android Jetpack, MVVM, and UI/UX best practices
• Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and networking libraries
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Compose, Coroutines, or RxJava
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps
• Knowledge of Google Play Store publishing process
