About the role

CoreData Systems is aligning its mobile front‑end with a new backend to power an upcoming app store launch. We need a Microservices Architect who can design, implement, and oversee a resilient service mesh that bridges mobile clients and core APIs.

Key responsibilities

• Define a microservice strategy that supports real‑time sync between iOS/Android apps and backend services.
• Architect containerized services using Docker and orchestrate them with Kubernetes for auto‑scaling.
• Design API contracts in Java, ensuring versioning and backward compatibility for mobile releases.
• Set up CI/CD pipelines that validate contract tests and deploy services safely.
• Collaborate with mobile leads to fine‑tune latency and data consistency.

Must-have skills

• Proven experience designing microservice architectures for mobile‑backend ecosystems.
• Deep knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Java‑based service development.
• Ability to create clear API specifications and enforce governance.

Nice to have

• Experience with gRPC or GraphQL gateways.
• Familiarity with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) and service mesh tools.
