About the role

NexGen Media is launching a next‑generation app store and needs an AI Machine Learning Engineer to align mobile and backend intelligence layers. You will shape the "PulseSync" module, ensuring predictive features work seamlessly across iOS and Android clients and the cloud services that power them.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a recommendation engine using TensorFlow that serves real‑time suggestions to mobile users during app discovery.
• Integrate ML pipelines with existing Node.js backend APIs, exposing endpoints via FastAPI for low‑latency inference.
• Create automated CI/CD workflows in GitHub Actions to retrain models nightly and deploy Docker‑based inference services.
• Collaborate with mobile developers to embed ONNX models into React Native components, optimizing for device memory constraints.
• Monitor model drift and performance metrics using Prometheus and Grafana, delivering weekly health reports.

Must-have skills

• Advanced Python for model development and data preprocessing.
• Experience with JavaScript/Node.js backend integration.
• Proficiency in building and consuming REST APIs for ML services.
• Strong knowledge of TensorFlow, PyTorch, or ONNX model formats.
• Hands‑on with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with mobile ML frameworks such as TensorFlow Lite.
• Background in A/B testing and experiment tracking tools.
