About the role

BrightMart Solutions is seeking a Senior AI Machine Learning Engineer to lead the development of a predictive analytics platform for retail inventory optimization. You will design, implement, and evaluate machine learning models that forecast demand and reduce stockouts.

Key responsibilities

• Define problem statements and data requirements with stakeholders.
• Collect, clean, and preprocess large retail datasets.
• Develop and train supervised learning models using Python.
• Implement model evaluation pipelines and performance monitoring.
• Integrate models into existing services via REST APIs.
• Document methodologies and present findings to technical and non‑technical audiences.

Must-have skills

• Advanced Python programming and libraries (pandas, scikit‑learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch).
• Experience building and deploying ML models in production.
• Strong understanding of statistical modeling and time‑series forecasting.
• Proficiency with REST API design and integration.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud ML services (AWS SageMaker, GCP AI Platform).
• Knowledge of MLOps tools for CI/CD pipelines.
