QA Software Tester – Release Validation

About the role

BlueSky Ventures is launching a new SaaS product and needs a detail‑oriented QA Software Tester to ensure quality and reliability before release. You will work closely with developers to design and execute test plans, identify defects, and help improve overall test coverage.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium
• Execute manual and automated test cases across web applications
• Document defects, track them to resolution, and verify fixes
• Collaborate with dev and product teams to define acceptance criteria
• Continuously improve testing processes and frameworks

Must-have skills

• Strong experience in QA testing for web applications
• Proficiency with Selenium WebDriver and test automation
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities

Nice to have

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured)
• Knowledge of performance testing tools
