DevOps Engineer Needed for Cloud Infrastructure

About the role

BlueSky Ventures is scaling its cloud infrastructure to support rapid product growth. We need a proactive DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain automated pipelines and container orchestration across AWS environments.

Key responsibilities

• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using industry‑standard tools.
• Deploy, manage, and monitor Docker containers in Kubernetes clusters.
• Implement infrastructure as code for repeatable, secure AWS resources.
• Collaborate with developers to streamline release cycles and troubleshoot production issues.
• Ensure security best practices and cost‑effective resource utilization.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM).
• Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Hands‑on expertise building CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar).
• Solid scripting knowledge (Bash, Python, or PowerShell).
• Understanding of networking, monitoring, and logging in cloud environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with Helm charts and service mesh technologies.
• Knowledge of security compliance frameworks (ISO, SOC2).
