Cybersecurity Analyst – Access Control Design

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Cybersecurity Analyst to strengthen our clients' security posture. The role involves monitoring alerts, analyzing incidents, and recommending remediation across cloud and on‑prem environments. You will also review security policies, assist in audit preparation, and provide training to staff on best practices. The analyst will work closely with the DevOps team to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct real‑time threat detection and investigation
• Perform vulnerability assessments and risk analysis
• Develop and tune security monitoring rules and alerts
• Document incidents and create clear remediation reports
• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement security controls
• Evaluate third‑party security solutions and recommend improvements
• Maintain up‑to‑date threat intelligence feeds and share insights with stakeholders

Must-have skills

• Strong understanding of network security principles
• Experience with SIEM tools and incident response
• Proficiency in scripting with Python
• Solid Linux administration skills
• Familiarity with firewalls and IDS/IPS technologies
• Understanding of compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001 or NIST

Nice to have

• Knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure)
• Certifications such as CISSP or GSEC
• Experience with automation tools like Ansible or Terraform
