Part-Time Video Editor for Faceless YouTube Channel (Personal Finance / Side Hustle Niche)

Nov 18, 2025 - MidLevel

$750.00 Fixed

I run a faceless personal-finance YouTube channel (85k subs) that posts 8–10 videos per month — think “Top 10 Side Hustles 2025”, “How I Made $8k in a Month”, “Don’t Buy This Car”, etc. Videos are voice-over + stock footage/B-roll/screen recordings.

I need a reliable editor who can turn my scripted voice-over + folder of raw assets into clean, addictive 8–15 minute videos using CapCut or Premiere (CapCut strongly preferred — it’s faster and cheaper).

This is perfect for someone who loves fast-paced YouTube editing, already knows the “MrBeast-style” retention tricks, and wants steady monthly income without chasing one-off clients.

Responsibilities

Edit 8–10 videos per month (8–15 min each)

Add B-roll, stock footage, zoom-ins, sound effects, text overlays

Sync voice-over perfectly

Add simple motion graphics (arrows, circles, lower thirds)

Create clickable thumbnails in Canva (I provide template)

Add subtitles (auto-generated + quick cleanup)

Export in correct YouTube specs

Make 1–2 Shorts per video from leftovers

Occasional simple animated intros/outros

Required Skills

Fast & clean editing in CapCut or Premiere Pro

Good rhythm and timing (knows when to cut, zoom, add SFX)

Reliable and hits deadlines

Attention to small details (no misspellings in text, audio sync)

Can source extra free stock footage if needed (Pexels, Pixabay)

Nice to Have

Experience with faceless finance/side-hustle channels

Located in Philippines, Pakistan, India, Indonesia, LATAM (any timezone OK)

Knows CapCut desktop extremely well

Thumbnail design skills

Familiar with TubeBuddy or vidIQ

Basic color grading

Can do simple AI voice cloning fixes if needed

Typical Weekly/Monthly Tasks

Batch editing possible (I send assets in bulk)

Paid 2-week trial at full rate

$100–$200 bonuses when videos hit 100k+ views

Long-term stability (channel posts forever)

Working Schedule

Completely flexible — just deliver videos by the scheduled upload date (I plan 7–10 days ahead). No meetings required.

Payment Structure

Basic Tier – $500/month (14 hrs/week, 8 videos, basic editing)

Standard Tier – $625/month (17 hrs/week, 10 videos + Shorts)

Premium Tier – $750/month (20 hrs/week, 10 videos + thumbnails + faster turnaround)

Paid on the 1st via Wise, PayPal, or Payoneer.

Tools You’ll Use

CapCut (preferred) or Premiere Pro, Canva, Google Drive, YouTube Studio

Training Provided

Yes — I send you 5 fully edited example projects + Loom walkthrough. First 3 videos are heavily guided and still paid full rate.

Realistic Expectations

You don’t need to be a Hollywood editor. If you can make videos that look like the top finance channels and deliver on time, you’re golden. I’d rather have consistent good edits than occasional amazing ones.

Growth Opportunities

My last editor started at $500 and now makes $1,800/month handling two of my channels + managing a small team. Real growth if you’re fast and reliable.

Ideal Candidate

Obsessed with YouTube retention

Super reliable (never misses a deadline)

Fast learner and takes feedback well

Wants to edit finance content every week for the next 1–2+ years

Communicates clearly in English
