$1,500.00 Fixed
WordPress Developer & Maintenance Specialist for Affiliate Blog Network
Experience Level: Entry to Mid-Level
Project Duration: Ongoing (starts with paid 1-month trial)
Monthly Budget: $800–$1,500 USD (tiered by scope & speed)
Project Overview
I run a portfolio of 8 affiliate blogs (mostly home/kitchen, health, and tech niches) on WordPress + Elementor. Traffic is solid, revenue is consistent, but I’m not a developer and things break, get slow, or need updates constantly.
I need a reliable WordPress dev who can handle maintenance, speed optimization, plugin updates, small custom features, and occasional new page builds. Everything is on managed hosting (Cloudways + BunnyCDN), so no server management required. Perfect if you live in WordPress, love clean code, and want steady high-paying technical work without agency drama.
Responsibilities
Monthly updates (core, themes, plugins) across all sites
Fix bugs, broken layouts, Elementor issues
Speed optimization (images, caching, CSS/JS minify)
Implement small custom features (custom post types, shortcodes, simple forms)
Build or redesign 2–4 new landing/review pages per month with Elementor
Security hardening & malware cleanup if needed
Backup verification & migration help when switching hosts
SEO technical fixes (schema, redirects, sitemap issues)
Occasional WooCommerce tweaks (we have a couple shops)
Required Skills
Strong WordPress + Elementor Pro experience
Comfortable with PHP, CSS, basic JavaScript
Knows WP Rocket, Perfmatters, Imagify, Rank Math
Can troubleshoot conflicts and errors
Reliable and communicates clearly in English
Nice to Have
Experience with Cloudways, BunnyCDN, Redis/Object cache
Located in Philippines, Pakistan, India, Egypt, or Eastern Europe
Knows Oxygen Builder or Bricks (we’re testing)
Advanced speed optimization (Core Web Vitals 90+)
Custom plugin development (simple ones)
Familiar with affiliate sites (AAWP, Lasso, etc.)
Typical Weekly/Monthly Tasks
15–25 hours per week
Maintenance & updates: 8–12 hrs
New pages/custom work: 7–13 hrs
Emergency fixes: rare, but paid extra if outside hours
What I Provide
Full admin access + staging sites
Cloudways team access
All premium plugins/themes paid (Elementor Pro, WP Rocket, Rank Math Pro, AAWP, etc.)
Detailed tickets in Notion or Trello
Loom videos for complex requests
Fast replies (I’m online a lot)
What I Offer
One of the best-paying WordPress gigs you’ll find
Paid 1-month trial at full rate
$200–$500 bonuses for big speed wins or launch deadlines
Rate increases every 6 months
Long-term stability (these sites aren’t going anywhere)
Working Schedule
Flexible — just need updates done during low-traffic hours and fixes within 24 hrs (urgent) or 3–5 days (normal).
Payment Structure
Basic Tier – $800/month (15 hrs/week, maintenance + small fixes)
Standard Tier – $1,100/month (20 hrs/week, includes 2 new pages/month)
Premium Tier – $1,500/month (25 hrs/week, full custom dev + optimization projects)
Paid on the 1st via Wise or PayPal.
Tools You’ll Use
WordPress, Elementor Pro, WP Rocket, Cloudways, Rank Math, AAWP, Notion/Trello, LocalWP
Training Provided
Yes — full access to current setup, documentation of all custom code, and I’ll walk you through the quirks of each site in the first week.
Realistic Expectations
You don’t need to be a full-stack agency. If you can keep 8 sites running smoothly, load under 1.5s, and build clean Elementor pages fast, you’re golden. I’d rather have reliable + communicative than a genius who ghosts.
Growth Opportunities
My last dev started at $900 and now earns $3,200/month managing the entire tech stack + building new sites from scratch. Real path to senior dev pay as the network grows.
Ideal Candidate
Lives in WordPress dashboard
Obsessed with site speed and clean code
Super reliable (my sites = my income)
Wants the same client for years
Can explain technical things simply
