Senior Node.js Developer Needed for Platform Modernization

About the role

We are launching a brand‑new SaaS product from scratch and need a seasoned Node.js Developer to shape the core backend. You will join a remote‑first, fast‑moving team focused on delivering a scalable, secure service for global users.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement RESTful APIs that power the SaaS platform
• Set up server architecture using Express and modern JavaScript patterns
• Collaborate with product and UI teams to define data models and integration points
• Write automated tests and ensure high code quality
• Optimize performance and monitor production health

Must-have skills

• 5+ years of Node.js development
• Deep experience with Express and JavaScript (ES6+)
• Proven track record building REST APIs for SaaS products
• Understanding of cloud deployment and CI/CD pipelines

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration
• Experience with TypeScript or GraphQL
• Background in building greenfield applications
