About the role

Ridgeline Software is building a next‑generation billing sync module called "ChainBill" to unify its invoicing, CRM, and internal service APIs on a blockchain layer. As a Senior Blockchain Engineer you will design and implement smart‑contract logic that securely bridges these systems, ensuring data integrity and auditability across the ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and code Solidity smart contracts for real‑time billing event capture and CRM record linking.
• Integrate ChainBill with existing RESTful APIs using Web3.js and Python webhooks, delivering a functional prototype within 4 weeks.
• Develop automated test suites in Hardhat and Truffle, covering end‑to‑end transaction flows and edge‑case failure scenarios.
• Collaborate with the security team to perform formal verification and gas‑optimization reviews.
• Document contract interfaces and deployment pipelines in CI/CD (GitHub Actions) for reproducible releases.
• Provide knowledge transfer sessions to internal devs on blockchain best practices and upgrade strategies.

Must-have skills

• Deep expertise in Solidity and smart‑contract development.
• Proficiency with JavaScript, Python, and REST API integration.
• Experience deploying contracts on Ethereum‑compatible networks and managing gas costs.
• Strong understanding of blockchain security principles and audit processes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools for automated contract deployment.

Nice to have

• Background in tokenomics design or DeFi protocol integration.
• Knowledge of Layer‑2 scaling solutions such as Optimism or Arbitrum.
