REST API Developer – Production System Integration

About the role

We are launching an integration project that ties together our billing system, CRM, and several internal services. The REST API Developer will design, implement, and document the connectors that enable seamless data flow across these platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Build robust, secure RESTful endpoints in NodeJS for billing and CRM data exchange
• Design PostgreSQL schemas to store intermediate transaction logs
• Implement authentication, rate‑limiting, and error handling across all APIs
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure reliability
• Collaborate with product owners to refine integration requirements

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with REST API design and implementation
• Proficiency in NodeJS and JavaScript (ES6+)
• Hands‑on knowledge of PostgreSQL and SQL query optimization
• Understanding of OAuth2/JWT authentication mechanisms

Nice to have

• Familiarity with billing platforms such as Stripe or Chargebee
• Experience integrating popular CRMs like Salesforce or HubSpot
• Knowledge of Docker for containerized deployments
