REST API Developer Needed for Public API Rollout

About the role

Orbit Labs is extending its B2B SaaS platform with multi‑tenant capabilities. We need a REST API Developer to design and implement tenant‑aware endpoints that power new feature modules while preserving existing functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build scalable RESTful services for multi‑tenant data isolation
• Integrate with PostgreSQL schemas and ensure performant queries per tenant
• Write clean, testable NodeJS code following best practices
• Collaborate with product owners to translate feature specs into API contracts
• Document API endpoints and usage guidelines for internal teams

Must-have skills

• Strong experience building REST APIs with NodeJS
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+)
• Hands‑on knowledge of PostgreSQL design and query optimization
• Understanding of multi‑tenant architecture patterns

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Docker or containerized deployments
• Experience with API versioning and OpenAPI specifications
