QA Software Tester – Defect Prevention

About the role

We are launching a critical product and need a QA Software Tester to lead an automation uplift. Your focus will be on building robust test suites that cut regression risk before go‑live.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement end‑to‑end automated tests for web applications
• Identify flaky tests and improve stability of existing suites
• Integrate automated tests into CI pipelines for continuous feedback
• Collaborate with developers to define testable acceptance criteria
• Document test cases, results, and defect reports clearly

Must-have skills

• Strong experience in QA testing and test automation
• Proficiency with Selenium WebDriver and related frameworks
• Ability to write maintainable scripts in JavaScript or Python
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools

Nice to have

• Experience with BDD tools such as Cucumber
• Familiarity with performance testing tools
• Knowledge of cloud‑based testing environments
