About the role

NovaForge Tech is building a seamless integration layer that ties together its billing platform, CRM system, and a suite of internal APIs. As a QA Automation Engineer you will ensure the reliability of data flow and transaction integrity across these services. This short‑term project focuses on delivering a robust test framework for the new integration module.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement end‑to‑end Selenium test suites for the "FusionBridge" integration pipeline.
• Develop API test scripts in Postman/Newman to validate billing‑CRM data sync at each release milestone.
• Integrate automated tests into the Jenkins CI pipeline and maintain flaky‑test mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with backend and DevOps engineers to mock external services and generate realistic test data.
• Produce detailed test reports and defect logs in Jira, highlighting regression risks.
• Participate in sprint reviews to verify that integration checkpoints meet quality gates.

Must-have skills

• 3+ years of test automation experience with Selenium WebDriver.
• Proficiency in JavaScript (Node.js) for scripting test logic.
• Hands‑on knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman or REST‑Assured.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Strong debugging skills in a microservices environment.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter) for load validation.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) for test environment provisioning.
