About the role

Summit Digital is building a data pipeline and analytics enablement platform for operations teams. We need a PHP Developer to design, implement, and optimize backend services that ingest, transform, and expose operational data.

Key responsibilities

• Develop robust PHP services using Laravel to process high‑volume data streams
• Design MySQL schemas and write efficient queries for analytics workloads
• Integrate with third‑party APIs and internal data sources
• Implement data validation, error handling, and logging mechanisms
• Collaborate with data engineers and product owners to refine requirements

Must-have skills

• Strong PHP development experience (3+ years)
• Proficiency with Laravel framework
• Advanced MySQL query optimization

Nice to have

• Familiarity with data pipeline tools (e.g., Apache Kafka, Airflow)
• Experience in building RESTful APIs for analytics consumption
