Node.js Developer – Domain Modeling Upgrade

About the role

AlphaEdge Tech is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted applications. We need a Node.js Developer who can embed robust security controls directly into our services while keeping performance optimal.

Key responsibilities

• Audit existing Node.js services for security gaps and propose mitigations
• Implement authentication, authorization, and input validation layers
• Integrate security scanning tools into CI pipelines
• Write secure, well‑documented code and unit tests
• Collaborate with DevOps to enforce runtime hardening policies

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with NodeJS and Express
• Deep understanding of JavaScript security best practices
• Design and consumption of REST API services
• Familiarity with OWASP guidelines and threat modeling

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Knowledge of container security (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Background in automated security testing tools
