About the role

We are designing a high‑performance data pipeline for a client analytics platform. The MongoDB Specialist will shape schema design, optimize queries, and ensure data integrity across distributed services.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable MongoDB schemas tailored to workload patterns
• Write aggregation pipelines and indexes to improve query speed
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate MongoDB with Node.js services
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and recommend improvements
• Document data models and best practices for the team

Must-have skills

• 3+ years of hands‑on MongoDB administration and development
• Strong understanding of data modeling, indexing, and aggregation
• Experience integrating MongoDB with JavaScript/Node.js stacks
• Proficiency in performance tuning and replication setup

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Docker or Kubernetes for containerized deployments
• Knowledge of sharding and large‑scale cluster management
