Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain large-scale Java applications using Spring Boot and Microservices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
• Develop scalable and efficient solutions to meet project requirements
• Ensure that applications meet the highest standards of quality and performance
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the overall quality of the codebase
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, and provide support to the development team as needed
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in Java development, and apply this knowledge to improve our applications and processes
• Participate in agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Collaborate with the QA team to identify and resolve defects, and ensure that our applications meet the required quality standards
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, user manuals, and API documentation
• Provide training and support to junior developers, and contribute to the growth and development of the team
• Participate in the planning and estimation of project timelines, and ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget
• Collaborate with the DevOps team to ensure that our applications are properly deployed, monitored, and maintained in production
• Develop and maintain automated tests, including unit tests, integration tests, and UI tests

Requirements

• Strong background in Java development, with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles, data structures, and algorithms
• Experience with Spring Boot and Microservices, and a strong understanding of how to design and develop scalable and efficient applications
• Proficiency in Java 8 or later, and experience with Java-based frameworks and libraries
• Experience with agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Strong understanding of software design patterns, principles, and best practices
• Experience with automated testing, including unit tests, integration tests, and UI tests
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Strong understanding of database concepts, including data modeling, normalization, and querying
• Experience with version control systems, including Git and SVN
• Strong understanding of security principles, including authentication, authorization, and data encryption
