Key Responsibilities

  • Review and moderate user-generated content on social media platforms to ensure compliance with our community guidelines and terms of service.
  • Develop and implement effective content moderation strategies that balance the need for free speech with the need to maintain a safe and respectful online environment.
  • Collaborate with our content creation team to review, edit, and publish high-quality content that aligns with our brand's voice and tone.
  • Work closely with our social media managers to develop and implement effective content strategies that drive engagement and increase our online presence.
  • Monitor and analyze social media metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, and provide recommendations for improving our content moderation strategies.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our brand's voice, tone, and style, and ensure that all content published on our social media platforms aligns with these guidelines.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in social media, content management, and digital marketing, and apply this knowledge to improve our content moderation strategies and processes.
  • Collaborate with our customer support team to resolve customer complaints and concerns related to content moderation.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of our content management systems, social media platforms, and other tools and technologies used in content moderation.
  • Provide training and support to other team members on content moderation best practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of our content moderation strategies and plans.
  • Work effectively in a remote work environment, using digital collaboration tools to communicate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a high level of productivity and efficiency.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in content moderation, social media management, or a related field.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and maintain a high level of productivity in a remote work environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to review and edit content for grammar, punctuation, and spelling errors.
  • Experience with content moderation tools and technologies, such as social media management software and content management systems.
  • Strong understanding of brand voice, tone, and style, and the ability to align content with these guidelines.
  • Ability to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in social media, content management, and digital marketing, and apply this knowledge to improve content moderation strategies and processes.
