About the role

Silverline Labs is preparing a new app store launch that must seamlessly connect mobile front‑ends with backend services. We need a GraphQL API Developer to design and implement the core GraphQL layer that powers data sync, authentication, and real‑time updates for the upcoming release.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and build a scalable GraphQL schema aligned with mobile data needs
• Integrate GraphQL resolvers with existing NodeJS services and REST endpoints
• Collaborate with React front‑end engineers to define query patterns and optimize payloads
• Implement authentication, authorization, and error handling across the API
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure reliability before store submission

Must-have skills

• Proven experience building production GraphQL APIs
• Strong NodeJS background and familiarity with REST API integration
• Understanding of mobile data flow and performance considerations
• Ability to write clean, documented code and automated tests

Nice to have

• Experience with Apollo Server or similar GraphQL tooling
• Knowledge of React data fetching patterns (hooks, Apollo Client)
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments
