Key Responsibilities

• Translate documents, articles, and content from one language to another, ensuring accuracy, quality, and cultural relevance
• Research and stay up-to-date on industry trends, terminology, and best practices in translation
• Collaborate with our team of experienced translators, editors, and project managers to deliver high-quality translation services
• Edit and proofread translations to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality
• Develop and maintain glossaries, terminology databases, and style guides to ensure consistency and quality in translations
• Translate a wide range of content, including marketing materials, websites, educational content, and technical documents
• Use computer-assisted translation tools and software to facilitate the translation process
• Meet deadlines and deliver high-quality translations on time, ensuring customer satisfaction
• Participate in quality control processes to ensure that translations meet the highest standards
• Stay up-to-date with new technologies and tools in the translation industry, and apply this knowledge to improve translation quality and efficiency
• Collaborate with our team to develop and implement translation workflows, processes, and standards
• Contribute to the growth and success of our company by delivering high-quality translation services and providing excellent customer service

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in translation, editing, or a related field
• Excellent language skills in the source and target languages, with strong grammar, syntax, and vocabulary skills
• Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to stay up-to-date on industry trends and terminology
• Experience with computer-assisted translation tools and software, such as Trados, MemoQ, or Wordfast
• Strong editing and proofreading skills, with attention to detail and quality
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve translation-related issues and problems
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality translations on time
• Certification in translation, such as the Certified Translator (CT) or the Certified Interpretive Translator (CIT) designation
