About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to join our team for an exciting e-commerce project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development, with expertise in both front-end and back-end development. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a scalable and efficient e-commerce platform that meets the needs of our clients.
The project involves designing and developing a user-friendly and responsive website with a robust back-end system. The candidate will be working closely with our team of designers, project managers, and quality assurance engineers to ensure that the project is delivered on time and to the highest standards. We are looking for someone who is passionate about web development, has excellent problem-solving skills, and is able to work well in a team environment.
The project will be developed using a range of technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP. The candidate will be expected to have experience with these technologies, as well as experience with database management systems such as MySQL. The ideal candidate will also have experience with version control systems such as Git and will be familiar with agile development methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing a scalable and efficient e-commerce platform using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
- Designing and developing a user-friendly and responsive website
- Working closely with the design team to ensure that the website meets the required design standards
- Collaborating with the project manager to ensure that the project is delivered on time and to the required standards
- Developing a robust back-end system using PHP and MySQL
- Integrating third-party APIs and services into the platform
- Ensuring that the platform is secure and meets all required security standards
- Testing and debugging the platform to ensure that it is free from errors
- Working with the quality assurance team to identify and fix any issues that arise during testing
- Deploying the platform to a live environment and ensuring that it is properly configured
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in web development
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
- Experience with database management systems such as MySQL
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Experience with e-commerce platforms and payment gateways
- Knowledge of security best practices and experience with secure coding techniques
