Docker Kubernetes Specialist – Infrastructure Setup

About the role

Stellar Services is expanding its micro‑services platform and needs a Docker Kubernetes Specialist to streamline container orchestration and CI/CD pipelines. You will work closely with developers to ensure reliable, scalable deployments in a cloud‑native environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Kubernetes clusters for production workloads
• Containerize applications using Docker and manage image registries
• Develop Helm charts and customize deployment configurations
• Automate CI/CD workflows with tools like GitLab CI or GitHub Actions
• Monitor cluster health, troubleshoot issues, and optimize resource usage

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production
• Solid understanding of networking, storage, and security in container environments
• Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python) for automation
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)

Nice to have

• Experience with Helm, Kustomize, or Terraform
• Knowledge of service meshes (Istio, Linkerd)
• Background in monitoring tools like Prometheus or Grafana
