About the role

Cascade Apps is preparing a major app store launch that requires tight mobile and backend coordination. We need a DevOps Engineer to design and automate the delivery pipeline that syncs mobile builds with backend services, ensuring a smooth release experience.

Key responsibilities

• Architect CI/CD workflows that integrate mobile build tools with backend deployment scripts
• Containerize backend services using Docker and orchestrate them on Kubernetes
• Set up AWS environments for staging and production, including IAM, VPC, and monitoring
• Implement automated testing and rollback mechanisms for both mobile artifacts and APIs
• Collaborate with mobile developers to embed versioning and feature flags into the release process

Must-have skills

• Proven experience building CI/CD pipelines for mobile‑backend ecosystems
• Deep knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services
• Strong scripting abilities (Bash, Python) for automation
• Understanding of mobile build tools (Fastlane, Gradle) and API deployment

Nice to have

• Experience with serverless architectures on AWS
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus or Datadog
• Background in security hardening for release pipelines
