Key Responsibilities

  • Design high-quality, unique logos that meet clients' expectations and branding goals.
  • Collaborate with the design team to develop comprehensive branding materials, including business cards, letterheads, and social media assets.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to conceptualize innovative design solutions for various projects.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their design preferences, provide design options, and incorporate feedback.
  • Utilize design software such as Adobe Creative Suite to create, edit, and finalize designs.
  • Ensure all designs are optimized for digital and print use, considering factors like resolution, color mode, and file format.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of design trends, best practices, and technologies to continuously improve design skills and offerings.
  • Develop and manage design timelines to meet project deadlines, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Present design concepts and final designs to clients, explaining the design rationale and benefits.
  • Contribute to the development of the company's design standards and style guides.
  • Stay organized, managing design files, versions, and backups to ensure easy access and retrieval of information.
  • Engage in continuous learning, seeking feedback from peers and mentors to refine design skills and stay current with industry developments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in logo design, with a portfolio that showcases creative and effective branding solutions.
  • Proficiency in design software, particularly Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Strong understanding of color theory, typography, and composition.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Time management and organizational skills, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with design principles, current trends, and technologies.
  • Ability to take direction, feedback, and constructive criticism to improve design work.
