Angular Developer Needed for Customer-Facing Admin UI Overhaul

About the role

BlueSky Ventures is revamping the performance and reliability of its flagship customer‑facing portal, codenamed "Nimbus UI". As an Angular Developer you will lead the front‑end overhaul, ensuring fast load times and robust error handling across all user journeys.

Key responsibilities

• Audit existing Angular components for performance bottlenecks and implement lazy‑loading strategies.
• Refactor state management using NgRx to improve data flow consistency.
• Integrate Web Vitals monitoring and set up automated performance regression tests.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to optimise API consumption and caching.
• Write comprehensive unit and e2e tests with Jasmine/Karma and Cypress for critical user flows.
• Document component guidelines and release notes for the "Nimbus UI" module.

Must-have skills

• 5+ years of Angular development experience (Angular 9+).
• Proficient in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Strong knowledge of RxJS and NgRx patterns.
• Experience with performance profiling tools (Chrome DevTools, Lighthouse).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.

Nice to have

• Exposure to server‑side rendering with Angular Universal.
• Understanding of progressive web app (PWA) concepts.
