Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy high-quality WordPress solutions for clients, including custom themes, plugins, and integrations.
• Collaborate with designers to create visually stunning and user-friendly websites that meet client requirements.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to WordPress coding standards.
• Conduct regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to ensure high-quality code.
• Participate in project planning, including estimating timelines, identifying potential roadblocks, and developing solutions.
• Work closely with project managers to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues, and implement fixes and patches as needed.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress trends, best practices, and security updates, and apply this knowledge to improve our development processes.
• Contribute to the development of our internal knowledge base, including documentation of coding standards, best practices, and technical guidelines.
• Assist in the creation of technical documentation, including user manuals, tutorials, and guides.
• Provide technical support and training to clients as needed, including responding to queries, resolving issues, and providing guidance on WordPress usage.
• Participate in ongoing learning and professional development, including attending conferences, workshops, and online courses to stay current with industry trends and best practices.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in WordPress development, with a strong focus on custom theme and plugin development.
• Proficiency in Php, Javascript, HTML, and CSS, with a strong understanding of WordPress coding standards and best practices.
• Experience with WordPress page builders, such as Elementor, Beaver Builder, or Divi.
• Strong understanding of WordPress security, including common vulnerabilities and how to mitigate them.
• Familiarity with WordPress caching, performance optimization, and debugging techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with designers, project managers, and clients.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple projects and deadlines to manage.
• Strong attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality work and meeting client expectations.
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git, and agile project management methodologies.
