About the role

Orbit Labs is boosting its test automation framework to cut regression risk before major product launches. We need a TypeScript Developer who can design, implement, and integrate automated test suites across our web applications. The role focuses on creating maintainable, scalable test code that aligns with CI pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop end‑to‑end test scripts in TypeScript using Playwright or Cypress
• Integrate automated tests into existing CI/CD workflows
• Collaborate with QA and development teams to define test scenarios and coverage
• Refactor legacy test code for reliability and performance
• Document test strategies and results for stakeholder review

Must-have skills

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript
• Hands‑on experience with Angular or React front‑ends
• Proven track record building test automation frameworks
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD tools, and REST APIs

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud‑based testing services
• Knowledge of performance testing tools
• Background in DevOps or containerization
