About the role
Silverline Labs is building a high‑performance backend to support the launch of its new mobile app store. As a Site Reliability Engineer you will bridge mobile front‑end requirements with backend services, ensuring the platform scales smoothly for the upcoming release.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement Terraform modules for multi‑region AWS VPCs that meet mobile latency SLAs.
- Set up automated canary deployments using Argo CD for the app‑store API gateway.
- Integrate Datadog APM and custom Grafana dashboards to monitor mobile‑specific metrics such as session start latency.
- Develop Bash/Python scripts to synchronize feature‑flag states between mobile CI pipelines and backend feature toggles.
- Conduct load‑testing with Locust to validate 10k concurrent mobile users before the store go‑live.
- Document runbooks for incident response focused on mobile‑backend interaction failures.
Must-have skills
- Strong experience with AWS (ECS, RDS, CloudWatch).
- Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Infrastructure‑as‑Code expertise, preferably Terraform.
- Solid Linux system administration and scripting (Bash/Python).
- Monitoring and alerting setup using Datadog or Prometheus.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with mobile CI/CD tools such as Fastlane.
- Experience with service mesh technologies like Istio.
