About the role

Cascade Apps is launching an integration project that ties together billing, CRM, and internal APIs. We need a Cybersecurity Analyst to embed security controls throughout the data flows and ensure compliance across all touch points.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct threat modeling for the billing‑CRM‑API integration pipeline
• Design and implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms for API endpoints
• Perform vulnerability assessments on data exchange scripts and micro‑services
• Develop security monitoring alerts for anomalous transaction patterns
• Collaborate with developers to embed security testing in CI/CD

Must-have skills

• Strong knowledge of security frameworks and risk assessment
• Proficiency in Python for scripting security checks
• Hands‑on experience securing Linux‑based services
• Familiarity with API security standards (OAuth, JWT, TLS)

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud security tools (AWS/GCP)
• Knowledge of PCI‑DSS compliance for billing systems
